This app failed the Direct3D test in the Windows App Certification Kit

Question

Hi,
This is my second release of the app to the store and it keeps failing "This app failed the Direct3D test in the Windows App Certification Kit. You can learn more about supporting Direct3D herehttp://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/Hh994923.aspx and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/jj552948.aspx"
On the first release I had no issues and I have not changed much other than providing a 7 day trial. In addition I am also now scanning an image using the Zxing library to read bar codes.
I run the WACK on my box with no issues.
I am not using any direct3D libraries. My app does draw lines on an image using the standard Line object from
Windows.UI.Xaml.Shapes
Thank you

Does the Zxing library use Direct3D?
You should have received a file with more details about how the app failed.

Hi,MPotter54
How's it going? Do you have any updates about the previous issue? Please reply to let us know if this issue has been resolved. If so, I can mark this thread as answer.
Thanks

I thought of that and I re-submitted the app without the barcode feature and the Zxing library removed. The app has been in the tech compliance phase since 7/25. I am hoping it gets approved today.
Thank you for your response.

I got rejected again. This time it took the tester 6 days to tell me the same thing from the first four rejections which was about a 1 day turn-around.. I guess I will open a support ticket.

I obtained a surface RT (32MB) and I ran the WACK on the Surface RT with no issues. See results below. I am resubmitting. Are there other ways I can get this issue resolved if I get rejected again?
Thank You

So, were there no changes between the last two submissions?
I've submitted twice with the same failure. (Passes WACK, tested on RT, no Direct3D use, etc.) Should I just keep submitting?

Rob,
I'm in a similar situation. I didn't receive the file (with more details) you mention. Is there a way to get this file?

Yes no changes, In notes to testers I pasted the results for the wack test on the surface RT.
I also had a chat with MS.

Hi Bill,
You may need to contact support about that, but try asking in the Publishing Windows Store apps forum. That's where the folks dealing with certification live. This forum can help with WACK issues, but doesn't deal with the certification process itself.
