  • when i try to install dot net framework 2.0 the following message is coming "the application failed to initialize properly (oxcooooo7b) click on ok to terminate the application"

  • Before install it, please finish the steps below:

    1. Turn off your anti-virus software during installation;

    2. Install the latest Windows updates;

    3. Complete or dismiss Windows Update before installation. (And don't forget to turn it on later)

    Solution : Re-install the application. [Before un-installation take backup of full application folder]

    1. Open control panel, click Add\Remove Programs and uninstall the application.
    2. Clean the application path.
    3. Re-Install the application And make sure that you are running the setup as Run as Administrator.

    If the error persists,please share your Windows version. Techniques to resolve your issue will be different depending on your Windows version.

    Also, please share your install logs as follows:

    Please collect your install logs with this:

    http://aka.ms/vscollect

    After you run Collect.exe, you'll find vslogs.cab in your %temp% directory. Please upload vslogs.cab to a public site, like SkyDrive, and post the link here.
