  • Hello everyone, I'm a new MSDN subscriber and I want to ask about the difference between retail microsoft software and that available on MSDN. For example, Are the contents of Windows & Office available on MSDN same as Windows & office purchased from retail stores as fully packaged product?

    MSDN Subscriptions exists to give Developers and Testers the ability to create and test their products on top of fully functional versions of Microsoft software like Windows and Office.
