How to set a global event handler in WinRT? (Can't find RegisterClassHandler) RRS feed

  • Question

  • How can I set an event handler that will fire on all instances of a particular object?  WPF had the EventManager.RegisterClassHandler() facility, but I can't find EventManager or RegisterClassHandler() at all in WinRT.

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
