Integrated multi Touch-screen (Pen input optimized) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a Tablet PC and I need it to have an active digitizer. However, I can't find that information on the details of the specifications of the laptops and the sales persons don't seem to know much about it. The thing that I commonly see is "Integrated multi Touch-screen (Pen input optimized)". Can anyone explain to me what this is? Does it mean that the digiziter is active?Or does it only tell me that it has a touch screen?

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Many thanks!

  • Currently, this typically means that the screen is dual-mode and can take input from a pen or single touch. The pen input optimized indicates that the screen is probably better for pen input than it is for touch input.
