  • Neeraj,

Can you contact me directly via the Site Feedback link at the bottom of http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions?

I'll need you to run a diagnostic tool on your machine that collects some information, and I'll send it to you via reply to your feedback submission.

    Thanks,
    Mike

  • An update on this problem,

it appears that there are specific strings that the FTM does not allow in the PATH of the file.  One of these strings is "System" to apparently prevent people from accidentally saving files in c:\windows\system32.

So, if you're downloading a file to c:\temp\msdn\operating systems\ the FTM wont let you do this and will immediately suspend the transfer and force you to pick another folder to download to.

I'm asking the FTM team to document this directly and do let me know if there are other strings in the PATH that have a similar limitation.

    Thanks,
    Mike
