Get the name of the current view RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

Could anyone tell me if it is possible to retrieve the name of the current view in an InfoPath 2010 form template form, without using code.

    Thanks

I am trying to create an InfoPath form with a customer who has no coding skills, and does not want to have a form that they will not be able to modify after we have finished.

I think I will use a field, and not add it to the form and populate it when I switch to each view.  That way the value of the field will always be the name of the current view.

    Thanks

  • Paul,

You could hide something like that via text on the page (via a CSS tag display:none) and retrieve it via jquery or javascript.
