Connection Issues with JMS server RRS feed

  • Question

    1. We are seeing connection issues between BizTalk and JMS server. That causes the JMS receive locations to go down. This is happening very frequently.  When we reviewed the event logs on the server, we see these errors –

(Exception) Asynchronous exception thrown by server. This is interpreted as a JMS server shutdown. Error message: java.lang.Exception: java.io.IOException: Connection closed The receive location will be disabled  ****

Asynchronous exception thrown by server. This is interpreted as a JMS server shutdown. Error message:  java.lang.Exception: java.net.ProtocolException: Tunneling result not OK, result: 'DEAD', id: '6' The receive location will be disabled ".

When these issues happens we observed that we are losing data. We involved our network team, but they specified that biztalk servers are directly connected to the JMS servers and they don’t see any connection errors in between.

Did anybody face this kind of issue ? We are currently using single Host for all the JMS receive locations .Does the host threshold  causing lose of the data ?

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue ? We want data to stay in the queue whenever there are connectivity issues on biztalk or between biztalk and JMS server.
