Capture 3D image rendering (ActiveX control) processing time - Code for Coded Web test. RRS feed

  • This is my Scenario:

    I have a 3D picture which loads dynamically from server, after that user navigates the image Zoom, enlarge etc.. This activities will be served by Client side ActiveX control which runs during the said navigation. Aprt from measuring GPU counters which actually tells me the impact on GPU which is crutial for analyzing impact, but can we measure the Processing time of ActiveX controls.

    But can we measure the Processing time of ActiveX controls.

    As far as I know, it doesn’t have this feature in default web performance test. One idea is that you would check whether you could capture it with coded web performance test. But I feel that it would require the custom code knowledge.
