OracleHelper class, Update returns 1 when no updates occurred? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am calling the MS OracleHelper class. When I call ExecuteNonQuery for my update it returns 1 even though nothing was updated. How do I determin with this ExecuteNonQuery if something was actually updated?

(I am NOT using SET NO COUNT on my packages/procedures).
