USB 2.0 & 3.0 SCSI Compliance failed and how to indicate WHCK which USB transport protocol my own driver implement? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm developping a USB storage device driver, like windows inbox driver, USBSTOR.sys.
When I run WHCK to test the driver,it fails on "USB 2.0 & 3.0 SCSI Compliance Test (logo)" item.
The log shows that the effective parameter "QueryUAS" is NULL, which means my own driver doesn't indicate WHCK the USB transport protocol it implements, BOT or UAS.
My question is how my own driver indicate WHCK the USB transport protocol the driver implements.
Is there any interface or other method to notify WHCK the value of "QueryUAS"?

  • WHCK identifies device as UAS capable by looking at the disk's parent's service property and should be "uaspstor"

    Hope this helps.
