Can't install IIS Manager for Remote Administration RRS feed

    I'm trying to deploy my first ASP.NET web site to a server, but I am unable to create a site using IIS because Web Deploy refuses to install IIS Manager for Remote Administration.  (The message is "downloaded file failed signature verification and may have been tampered with".)

     

    Where do I go from here?

    Publish the site to a folder on your local machine and upload the folder contents to your host area.  If you own the server and can't actually make the site, log onto the server itself, over remote desktop if you have to, and just configure IIS from there.
