How to remove a virtual machine from a virtual environment RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have created a virtual environment, name "VE 1".

That environment includes 2 virtual machines, name "VM 1" and "VM 2".

Now I want to remove virtual machine "VM 2" from "VE 1".

However, when I open "VE 1", select "VM 2", right click it, then it only allows me to edit role or rename but not remove (remove is disable).

So, how can I remove "VM 2" ?

I can remove "VE 1", but it's not I want. I only want to remove virtual machine "VM 2".

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hello James,

As far as I know that in order to remove virtual machines from one environment, you need to first store that environment to library. Right-click the environment and click Store to library. And then go to Library->Environments->open the stored environment->you can now delete the VM2 from the VE1 environment.
