Installers for App-V RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

We currently have several .net Windows applications (.net 2.0, .net 4).

However, App-v is currently being configured and tested on our network, with the intention being that the .net Windows apps will be delivered via app-v.

I was looking at InstallShield and noticed that it includes the 'virtualization pack'.

Does this mean that I need to create different installers for use on a virtualized environment?

I'm now in a flap to know whether Visual Studio setup projects be used to create installers for virtualized environments, but before I go down that road thought I'd better find out just what the different installer requirements are.

Thanks for any guidance that can be offered!

    Niki
