    Hi All,

    I have a Table A in Schema A and Table B in Schema B.

Schema B.Table B has Product Information taken from Schema A.Table A ( this is the main database for Products Profile).

When ever Update happens to products Information in Schema A.Table A, that Update should reflect in Schema B. Table B ?

How can i write trigger for it ?..

I have ProductID in both tables

Only one LOOKUP table should have the gold standard product information.

If you desire to update product information, it should be updated in that one lookup table only.

The other table then only Refers To a reference derived from the gold standard product lookup table.

Referential Integrity should always be a one way street.

Then no workarounds like a trigger is required.

And years later, so many less headaches cleaning up data.

Lannie, Thanks for the reply, in my scenario Referential Integrity would not work as in Table B I have data from another source as well as.  That was the reason I am planning to use Triggers.
