clang in Visual C++ 2015 RRS feed

  • Question

  • According to http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vcblog/archive/2015/05/01/bringing-clang-to-windows.aspx Microsoft is working on matching the clang front end with the Microsoft C2 backend. Is the results of this work available anywhere yet or is it still a work-in-progress?

  • I would suggest you pose your question in a comment to the blog you cited. That seems to be quite active with a MSFT rep answering questions. You can also check this blog for what's new in VS 2015/C++. http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vcblog/archive/2014/11/12/visual-studio-2015-preview-now-available.aspx

  • Reading the comments showed a comment from a MSFT rep saying "we dont have a public release date yet" so its obviously not available at this time.
