Hello,
I have 3 apps in store and I want to convert / publish them for Windows 8.1 so that it is ready as soon as everyone get the update.
I have Windows 8.1 RTM from MSDN but i can't find the 8.1 SDK that is not the "Preview" one.
On the download page (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/bg182409.aspx) it says:
The Windows Store will open for onboarding of Windows 8.1 apps on October 18. You will need to use RTM versions
of Visual Studio, Windows 8.1, and any services to refine and submit your app to the Windows Store.
But i would need the "Express" (free) version of VS and not the standard one that i don't have a licence for. The Express version is still only available in "Preview" as part of the "Windows SDK for Windows Preview" also available
from the download page but from what i read, this "Preview" SDK will allow me to run apps but not to create packages that i can upload to the store.
Should i download and install the "Preview SDK" and there will be an update for it in a few days? When is the "real SDK" going to be available for download, including VS Express 2013 and the 8.1 SDK?
Thanks for your answer,
Fabien
