Creation of Media Player

Hi,

 

I am using C#  windows application, i have to devlop a Personalized media player .with a tree window beside a palyer for selecting the file to play.the palyer should have the same functionality like windows media palyer.(such as play, pause,stop ,rewind,forword with sound controler, screen effects such as full size,medium size and small size etc).

 

 i don't know how to devlop a player in c# .can any body help me to resolve this issue.Please send any sample code for this issue and also i welcome some solutions from you.

Since writing a media player is something not achieved easilly (eg: look at how many years a project like http://www.videolan.org/vlc is already working on it...) i would recommend that you write a UI that communicates with some media player sdk instead...

Just search the web for AxWindowsMediaPlayer to find such an sdk...

Thanks a lot for the reply, i have added the windows media player in my form using the com components.can we play any file from the remote connection.

 

If we download the sdk of windows media payer.it is possible to modify the player as we needed( adding  extra buttons in that palyer)
