[win32] - about index tab order and Z order RRS feed

  • Question

  • i understand the Z order is for put 1 control above other. and for that i can use the SetWindowPos() function.

but how works the Tab Index Order? it's the controls creation order, or otherthing?

'Z' order and tab order are equivalent. It's the order that tabbing
(and the inverse Shift+Tab) through child windows (controls) takes
    place.

It's done initially when you create the controls, but if you
subsequently change the Z-order with SetWindowPos, that will also
    change the tab order.
