SQL Mirror spend CPU and IO and blocked yourself RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear,

On the SQL server I noticed using sp_who2, that DB Mirror spends CPU and IO.
Can you tell me if this is normal behavior in the Mirror?
What should I do if this is not normal behavior?

    Thanks

  • As far as I remember (and DBM has been out of my system for quite a while...) this is normal. CPU almost for sure, IO happens when DBM has to read data from the transaction log. So no worries there.

  • This is normal just keep eyes on redo queue and send queue.
