Windows store app - Emoticons

Question

When i use the on-screen keyboard to type emoticons in to my app , the emoticons are turn into text version. Like this picture bellow

My textbox takes whatever that is in the textbox and displays it . How do i turn the text versions of the smiles into the picture version when it is displayed like it is on the keyboard in my app?  Do i need to do sometype of encoding on the string?

Set IsColorFontEnabled="true" on your textbox. (Requires Windows 8.1)

Note that the default is actually true, so I guess this means you're not on 8.1 yet, and will have to wait for this.

Does textblock have the same property? Because i am going to display the text in a textblock.
