Combo box in PowerPoint 2007 RRS feed

  • Hello, can anyone please provide some help ?
    I have no programming/ vba experience at all - it's all by trial and error.

    I am working in PowerPoint 2007.

    I am having problems making the combo box work :
    a)  It works first time, but when I close the file and re-open, the combo box is empty - no list options to be seen.
    b)  When I save the file as a *.ppsm, the combo box is also empty.

    1.  I have used the following code :
    Private Sub ComboBox1_Exercise1()
    If ComboBox1.ListCount = 0 Then AddDropDownItems
    End Sub

    Sub AddDropDownItems()
    ComboBox1.AddItem "Select"
    ComboBox1.AddItem "Name1"
    ComboBox1.AddItem "Name2"
    ComboBox1.AddItem "Name3"
    ComboBox1.AddItem "Name4"
    ComboBox1.ListRows = 5
    End Sub

    2.  I then draw a combo box, keep it selected, go to Macros and click/run the macro.

    3.  I then save the file as a *.pptm.

    4.  Like I said, when I run the PowerPoint show, and select the combo box, there is no list to be seen.

    Am I missing a step and/or wrong code ?
