What is the rotation order for the IFTResult::get3DPose function output? RRS feed

  • The function IFTResult::get3DPose outputs X, Y and Z axis rotations as its result for orientation. However I cannot find any documentation stating the application order of these rotations. This matters due to the non-commutative nature of Eulerian rotations.

  • Is there a particular reason you need this. The API will give you a correctly oriented model based on the values passed to the GetProjectedShape method.

  • I do not want the projected shape, as I wish to use the 3D pose as user input in a 3D environment.
