Is there a Windows Store web service API for developers?
I would like to capture public information about apps in the app store programmatically.
Sincerely,
Scott Nimrod

Hi Scott,
The Windows Store does not currently provide any API. This is a well known request, but I don't know if it will be available in future versions (and if I did know, I couldn't comment on unreleased versions).

Thank you for your answer.
I guess I will have to write complex code to crawl the app store website so that I can capture all the app names instead.
Are there any other alternatives to getting the app names in the store?

Try this in your browser - may do the job for you.

Thank you for the guidance.
The link provided only showed xml data for my apps based on me being signed into the site.
Can I get all app names though and not just mine?
