  • Reading the data from a text file is very error prone.  It is best to read the data directly on the webpage.  This is not easy to do.  Internet Explorer can be automated with VBA.  There are lots of sites that explain this, Bing "Screen Scraping with VBA".  I looked at the webpage using Firebug in Firefox.  All the elements appear to have IDs.  You can extract the elements values by reading the DOM (Webpage) using the IDs to locate the data.

There appear to be very strict use restrictions on the data.  Make sure you have the proper permissions.

Added:  Excel has the capability of reading a Web table and I have got it to work on simple webpages but for the most part it seems to choke.  Go to the Data tab and you will see Web data.  I am using Excel 2010.

  • You still need to scrape the website to get the data.  This is not a simple process and requires knowledge of HTML.  I have used VBA and a tool called iMacros ($$$$).  To get the table in the posharp website your scraping code needs to be able to select pages.  Google 'scrape website' for tons of info on it.  There is a Python tool called scrapy (free) that is well supported.  Be prepared to spend a lot of time to get this done.
