the sql server agent

helloo 

ive posted before about which sqlserver version should i install with my visual studio ultimate version 

so after discussing i installed sqlserver express 2012 

the problem is that i cant start sql server agent i keep getting the message 

the sql server agent (sqlexpress)service on local computer started and then stopped .some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs

You can install the sql server developer editon. It is free for msdn subcriptions, and usually also bundled with visual studio boxed.

How about you change the agent service startup type to manual instead of automatic?
