Can't install or can't download media for offline install

Question

Hi,

I cant install or download media for offline install...

I get:

Status: "ConnectFailure"

Description: "Unable to connect to the remote server"

This was the link i was downloading from originally:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/sql-server/sql-server-editions-express

HOW can i download SQL Server Express?

Form your description, you download the SQL server installation from the link( you offered).  But you can’t install the SQL server from the download file. Is it right? if I misunderstood, please let me know.

You can download it from the link that you offered. Then click the download file and choose any install method depend on your requirement. I normally choose the option that download media files. Then you can install SQL server as normal steps.
