[UWP]Lauch UWP App wihout display on Taskbar. RRS feed

  • Hello Sir,

       I have functionality which is to be done before UWP App Launch.When I use UWP App is Launched on Taskbar, or  is there a way to hide UWP App on Taskbar on Windows 10? have used Background Activity but it only work Method in Backround Not UWP App.

    I'm not so sure about your condition so I cannot image what is that "Blinking App". I think you may have to modify your code to fix this Blinking first instead of thinking about hide your app in taskbar. You customer should have the way to open your app from taskbar, that impact a lot for user experience.

  • Hello Sanjeev Gaykwad,

    I didn't see related API in UWP after my research. The only related API maybe Windows.UI.ViewManagement and does not provide us any proper API for us to do this. Why do you want to hide this UWP app, do you have any specific requirement?

  • Hello Barry,

      I have specific requirement that App should exit depends on Condition False.In OnLaunched if it exits ,it display Blinking App,which is not proper way I thinks so.
