  • To answer your initial question, no, there is no support within Windows Workflow Foundation for Enterprise Library.   That said I'm not aware of any technical reasons why you couldn't use the Enterprise Library for .NET 2.0 - August 2005 CTP release with Windows Workflow Foundation beta 1.

Regarding your other question of activities for data access, we posted a SQL Server database activity to the WindowsWorkflow.net community site here that allows you to execute text commands and stored procedures againist a SQL Server 2000 and 2005 database.   You can download this activity complete with the source code, so you could look into modifying it to use EL.

Finally, workflow state is persisted through the use of Runtime Services.  Think of them as providers that you plug into the Workflow Runtime.  Windows Workflow Foundation includes a runtime service for SQL Server.  You can also develop your own runtime services.  There's an example of a custom persistence runtime service for the file system in the SDK.

    I hope this helps.
