Portable Class Libraries supported by Azure RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone!

Today I stumbled over an article about "Portable Class Libraries":

This is something that would be very interesting to us, as we use .NET WCF Services and Silverlight 4 and we have some code that's common between those two, but needs to be duplicated due to incompatibilities of the assemblies.

But as stated in the MSDN article you need to install an additional update on the machine that's running the program using portable class libraries:

"To run a Portable Class Library application, an update for the .NET Framework 4 must be installed on your machine."

So my question is simple: Is this update already installed on the Azure machines? Or is there an easy way to automatically deploy and install the update with my Azure project?
