Audit Storage Activity RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there any way to audit get, put, delete operations for azure blob? I created a container, uploaded a blob, and deleted the blob and container, but none of the operations showed up in the activity logs. I have also turned on diagnostic logs, and I can see some of the operations I mentioned above, but not able to see the username/ email of the person who initiated those actions.

  • Auditing happens at a storage account level not blob or container level.

You can enable Storage analytics individually for each service you want to monitor.
Azure Storage Analytics performs logging and provides metrics data for a storage account. You can use this data to trace requests, analyze usage trends, and diagnose issues with your storage account.
