Calendar control for date picker RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to have a date picker made in the Excel 2013. The Calendar form that is needed is not available under the more controls. I used to do a bit of VBA code in the past. I find that the Office code methods may have changed. I wanted to have this form installed and sought the help of Microsoft help desk through Chat. After a few hours of chat I come to Rechie from the office support who happen to be a novice and takes me in circles and misleads. Can you please help have this form installed to allow me the use of the date picker made.

What did you mean with “available under the more controls”? Could you share us details steps you used a date picker, and which issue you got? Which form you used? Did you mean you want to add a date picker to this form? If so, you can add a calendar control to a userform by Tools->Additional controls->Microsoft MonthView Control.

Here is a details guide line.

  • Hi JT5150,

I found the KB below, but failed to download it. I suggest you submit a feedback in the bottom.
    # OFFXPDEV: MSCOMCT2.OCX Is Not Included with Microsoft Office XP Developer
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/297381

For a workaround, I suggest you copy it from to other pcs who have it, and then register it. Or, you could use winform date picker in Excel VSTO project.

    Best Regards,

    Edward
