Kinect one for windows shuts down or do not start up RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have two different applications (Windows based) running in the in national Museum of Science and Technology.  They use Kinect One with the adapter for Windows. During the last 3 months the have “died” 3-4 times each. That means there is no indication that the Kinect is up and running. The only way to get up and running is to make a hardware reset, i.e. unplug the power cable for windows adapter. Is this problem known? How to get service? I been in contact with Microsoft and the department responsible for Kinect One, but they say they don’t have any responsibility for the windows adapter.

    Need urgent help.
