How to solve issue in ReportViewer' is ambiguous in the namespace 'Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms' RRS feed

    hi

    I have an issue in vs 2017 rdlc

    i have already developed in vs2012 asp.net web application.

    Now i have converted into vs 2017. every things is working fine but reportviewer

    If I edit rdlc, It throw error "Compiler Error Message: BC30560: 'ReportViewer' is ambiguous in the namespace 'Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms'."

    It happen only edited rdlc.

    Pls advice

    Hi maideen,

    Please check if there are more than one version 'Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms' referenced in your Web.Config, and check if you add the same reference twice.

    Besides, this thread discussed same issue, please refer to it to troubleshoot the issue.
