  • Hi p_s1,

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

    Please try with following steps:

    1. Open Command prompt as administrator, run:

    devenv /setup
    devenv /updateconfiguration

    2. Go to Control Panel—Programs and Features, select  ‘Microsoft Visual Studio 2015’, right click it and choose ‘Modify’ , install the "Microsoft Web Developer Tools", if it is installed, please uncheck and re-check to uninstall and re-install it again.

    3. Repair your VS from Control Panel,

    4. reboot your machine and launch VS as administrator.

These steps may take up some time, please wait patiently. If any problem still persists, please feel free to contact us, we will try to help you troubleshoot.

    Best Regards,
