Depth format change from Beta to 1.0? RRS feed

  • I have a c++ app that gets the depth buffers and renders them to the screen. I'm initializing with NUI_INITIALIZE_FLAG_USES_DEPTH.  In the Beta, this works fine.  In Kinect SDK v1.0, I have to >>3 each depth value.  This seems like a bug, since the docs are very clear that the depth should be in the low 12 bits...

  • Confirmed as a doc bug.  That is, the depth format is consistent regardless of the flags: bits 0-2 are the player index (if present), 3-15 are the depth value.
