FBX SDK - VS2012 or VS2010 ?

  • Hello,

    Coming from XNA, I want now to build my own FBX importer.

    I'm working with :
    - Windows 8 RTM
    - Visual Studio Express 2012 C++
    - FBX SDK 2013.2 (the last one so far)

    I can not use the static libs because they were build with VS2010, so I tried to use the DLL (x32 release : fbxsdk-2013.2.dll).
    I can build my solution, but at runtime I have weird effects like vars from the FBX library not being correctly initialized/filled ...
    Probably something wrong using fbxsdk-2013.2.lib (VS2010 version) ?

    Should I go back to VS2010 to build my FBX importer, waiting for the FBX SDK - VS2012 release ?
    What should I do ? Any advice ?


    Edit : My bad. I forgot to add the preprocessor definition FBXSDK_SHARED. All is running fine now, but any advices on this subject are still welcome.
