Settihng Culture in the application RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recently underwent an upgrade on my machine. Since that point in time, every one of my date formats comes out in the european format of dd/mm/yyyy, instead of the us format of mm/dd/yyyy.

Now, I have set globalization in my web.config. I have set it at the page level. I have put it into the Global.asax.

No dice. No matter what I do, I still get dd/mm/yyyy. Since all of my applications are written based on formatting such as {0:d} showing up in us date format, etc., I am starting to have some serious problems.

Does anyone out there in tv land have any way for me to get this reset? Works fine on my servers, just not on my machine.

    TIA, Tom

  • Never mind. Whoever set up the computer setup the short date as dd/MM/yyyy in the regional settings.

    Thanks anyway.
