Hey,
I made a crystal report in VS 2010 and it worked fine, but when I'm testing my program on another computer and try to pen the report the program closes, what is the problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

When I Start the report, it gives me a window asking me to close the program.

I AM using SAP crystal reports, and it is working as it should in my computer but on client machines it isn't!
So did you post your question in an SAP Crystal Reports Forum like I mentioned? Obviously that is where you will get expert advice on this issue. Please BEWARE that I have NO EXPERIENCE and NO EXPERTISE and probably onset of DEMENTIA which may affect my answers! Also, I've been told by an expert, that when you post an image it clutters up the thread and mysteriously, over time, the link to the image will somehow become "unstable" or something to that effect. :) I can only surmise that is due to Global Warming of the threads.

For Crystal Reports you should be using an SAP forum as Crystal Reports are no longer supported by Microsoft.

Hi Young_pro,
try to check the ocx's or dll's if it is installed on your client machines,

If you mean crystal reports should be installed on the other computer, I tried it and it said visual studio should be installed so I googled it and read something about Crystal report Runtime so I tried downloading it but this also didn't work. And if this is not what you're talking about then I don't think they are istalled on it since I didn't install them.
Note: The client machine is running windows 7 and when I installed crystal reports Runtime I maybe installed wrong version I don't know.
So any help?

If the application closes without any warning then it's most likely a dependency issue. Does it immediately occur when you run the application or only when you start running the report (e.g.: on a button-click)?Monday, January 6, 2014 8:19 AM
