mySQL not sure how to do it RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone, well I'm new to visual C# but I've been working with it for a while, anyways I wanted to know how can I do the following?

    A) Connect to a mySQL database(not MSSQL)
    B) If login information matches the one in the database
    C) Allow signs, and instantly updates the mySQL database without any problems.

I've looked around but they all tell me to use MSSQL I really can't use it...Sad any help?

As stated above: Use the MySqlConnector available from the MySQL website... The package contains C# classes for easily connecting to the DB and retrieving the data. There should be a tutorial as well.
