Project 2013 Save AS to Excel completes with error message RRS feed

  • Question

  • Environment using a Windows 7 VM and using Project 2013 and Excel 2013.  I create a project and SAVE AS to excel format.  I walk thru the wizard and save as to excel. The save completes with an Excel file and looks normal but the following error messages.

    Microsoft Project
The filter "" cannot be found.
You tried to display a view or use an importlexport map that references a filter that is not available.
.If you are trying to use a view, specify a different filter for the view.
.If you are exporting with a map, the export will continue without the application of a filter.

    Steps to recreate issue.

    1) Create project schedule

    2) Save As.... Select Excel Workbook (*.xlsx)

    3) click Save and then the error message appears

Maybe a setting or something causing.   I have tried other filters and views. Same results.

This is a bug which I have already reported to Microsoft about Project 2013.  In spite of the bug, my testing shows that the export operation completes successfully.  Hope this helps.
