error in installing the solidity in visual Studio

Hi all

I  am learning block chain, so i am installing solidity in VS

useing VSIX Installer

it is giving error like

The Install of  solidity  is not succuesful for selected products.

This  extension is not installable on any current install products

Hi,

Which VS version do you use ? https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ConsenSys.Solidity seems to target Visual Studio 2015. Not sure if they have a later version available.

Edit: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ConsenSys.Solidity#qna seems to confirm a problem with VS 2017 with apparently a workaround to enable the installation (unclear if this extension is still actively maintained on the ConsenSys side).

I meant try https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ConsenSys.Solidity&ssr=false#qna and the 3rd entry (it seems I can't link directly a post there)
