Integrate two touch panel drivers for Windows Embedded Compact 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm trying to configure 2 different touch panel drivers to a single Windows Embedded Compact 7 binary image to support two different touch monitors. Then the user interface can be replaced to another one without software upgrade.

Touch Panel A driver: The driver is a stream driver which is loaded by device manager and the GWES load the touch proxy driver. ref to https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj838836(v=winembedded.70).aspx

Touch Panel B driver: The driver is Windows CE 6.0 compatible driver ( the same interface as touch proxy).

I'm able to configure them separately and drive the touch panel accordingly. Since the calibration data for two touch panels are different, is there a way to make them work together? Any idea is welcome, thanks.

    Best Regards,

    Shaolin

  • Why do you tell us about the calibration data?  What does that have to do with your problem?

I don't understand the question.  What does "make them work together" mean to you?   To me it means, your device has two displays and two touch panels, both are expected to work at the exact same time.

But, it might mean something much different to you, like both drivers are included in the OS, but only one of the displays and touch panels will be connect to any one device, so you need to configure it correctly for the device.  Much different.
