Hello Friends,

I am going to develop a chat application, I am confused which way I choose. Below are the option, please suggest me which/why is the best way to create a chat application.

1. WCF Duplex chat
2. Socket
3. XMPP

Hi,

I am not familar with those options other than WCF, but from my experience, if you want to maximize performance sockets is the way to go. If you want to use WCF to achieve the goal of duplex communication, you can refer a sample below.
