  • Hi Kiranmayi,
Azure Search has comprehensive security features and access controls built into it to ensure private content remains that way. Encryption extends throughout the entire indexing pipeline: from connections, through transmission, and down to indexed data stored in Azure Search. Its architecture spans physical security, encrypted transmissions, encrypted storage, and platform-wide standards compliance.

According to this doc, Azure Search has been certified for several levels of compliance including:
    -ISO 27001:2013
    -SOC 2 Type 2
    -GxP (21 CFR Part 11)
    -HIPAA and the HITECH Act
    -HITRUST
    -PCI DSS Level 1
    -Australia IRAP Unclassified

Please refer to this doc for detailed information about Security and data privacy in Azure Search.
