when i open form1.vb[designer] file it shows me error in form1.Designer.vb file as: RRS feed

  • Note: frmLogin is my form name , dataset11 is my database name and login is my table name in dataset11

    It shows me error in form1.Designer.vb

    Error 1 Type 'frmLogin.Database11DataSetTableAdapters.loginTableAdapter' is not defined.

    Me.LoginTableAdapter = New frmLogin.Database11DataSetTableAdapters.loginTableAdapter()

  • So with TableAdapters/DataSets that are placed on a form, usually when such an exception is raised it's because one of these (is not defined is a dead give-a-way)

    • They don't exists at this time - they have been removed or some how (can happen if someone meddles improperly with the objects) renamed, placed out of scope .
    • Have been renamed improperly - if you can visually see them beneath the form or not is key here.
    • The form became corrupted (very rare)

    Impossible. 

    These errors show up if you have created your Datasets on Form1. But you have no form 1 because your form name is frmLogin

    Because your confusion I assume you have no multi layer solution therefore probably you have to chance frmLogin by Me.
