Looking for a way to return to the previous page that was filtered

Hi, I'm looking for a way to return back to the previous page while keeping the filters. For example, say I'm on the Products page and I filter by Categories. I view details on a product and hit the back button. It returns me to Products page but displays all products with no filter.

I'm thinking you would need to pass then in via query string and then modify the FilterUserControl codebehind to look for its parameter on return.

You would have to pass them first to the Insert/Edit page and then when you were returning to the List page return them again.

I'll have a think about it and see if I can come up with an example [8-)]

Well I am facing the same issues, if a user applies a filter followed by an edit and a save he returns to the UNFILTERED page. Of course he is very annoyed... ; )

So if someone can provide us with a nice example I would be very pleased!
