  • Hi ,

I cannot build a demo project in VS2010 because:

Warning    3    The referenced component 'Microsoft.Expression.Controls' could not be found.
Warning    4    The referenced component 'Microsoft.Expression.Drawing' could not be found.
Warning    5    The referenced component 'System.Windows.Interactivity' could not be found.

Where can I get them ?

My OS is Windows 7 x64

  • Indeed...

Unfortunately those dlls aren't shipped in .Net framework nor Visual Studio 2010 package
    at least not for now...

Those dll are part of Expression Blend 4 libraries (which is part of
    the Expression Studio 4).

Once Expression Blend 4 is installed, you should be able to locate those in following directory...

    c:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Expression\Blend\Silverlight\v4.0\Libraries\Microsoft.Expression.Controls.dll
    c:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Expression\Blend\Silverlight\v4.0\Libraries\Microsoft.Expression.Drawing.dll
    c:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Expression\Blend\Silverlight\v4.0\Libraries\System.Windows.Interactivity.dll

Another option is to check this following link:
    http://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/is/blend/thread/eb20a9c3-1e28-4cab-853f-7bc93490514b

One last interesting option would be to search if any Nuget - Expression Blend 4 package are available,
though I haven't seen any yet...

If this answers your question, please Mark as an answer. Thank you.
