How can i use WhenChanged property?

Hi,

Is it someone out there who have knowledge about the nature of WhenChanged attribute on the Active directoy objects. Which kind of changes on the objects will the property get modified and can i use it to make a search with reliable result with a search "find" WhenChange > DateValue to find modifications on objects in diffrent domains that have been modified since last time search.

I think that attribute might be non-replicated, so it will vary by controller.  If you wanted to really check on what changed, you either need to use USN change polling or the Dirsync control.  You can use the latter in 2.0 and the former in both versions.  The latter will allow you actually see exactly what attribute changed, while USN change polling will only tell you if something changed without more work.

Know that this is a late response to the answer you gave me dunnry, i will look in to USN change polling  and see if i can use it.
