Rejected addin submission due to addin not working on Mac, while in fact it does work RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I need help with understanding why my addin submission is being rejected.

This is what my addin submission report says:

"Your add-in is not working in the Outlook Client on Mac in compose mode on a message."
"Your add-in does not appear in the ribbon for insertion. For more information, please see https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/outlookformac/2016/12/07/add-ins-for-outlook-2016-for-mac-now-in-insider-fast/"

I have recorded a video showing how the addin works on my Mac:

    https://app.canned.me/watch?v=rJ184OVqx

Seeing as it does work, I can't see why the addin is being rejected with the reason being "Your add-in is not working in the Outlook Client on Mac in compose mode on a message.".

I've been in contact with Microsoft Developer Support multiple times and they suggested the following: "my best advice to you would be to add this info as a note to the testers when you submit again. If you can spell out the situation this clearly, it will help draw their attention to this as they run their tests, and that should get you a better result". I have done so but without any results so far.

What can I do to make sure my addin will be accepted?

    /Max

For this issue, I think you need to contact Office Store supporter, I suggest you check whether below link is helpful.
